Triangle sale

Thinking about consigning a horse to the Triangle sale. Sheβs a 2005 gdtr of DFP out of a foundation bred mare. Built correct. 2/3D barrels. Clean x rays on file. I just donβt fit her at all. The sale deadline is December 13th, and I honestly am tired of tire kickers. Is a sale too risky? Would a sale be a fit for this type of horse? I can give more info on her. TIA for your opinions

It is a good sale. Cutters and rope horses sell the best. Barrel horse prices are all over the place. If you consign her and don't like the final bid, you can PO. You just lose your consignment. We are taking one that is lightly started on barrels.

If I PO, I just lose the $300 consigning fee? I am looking over the rules on the website to be sure of everything. Have you sold or bought there before? Is the winter sale typically better or worse than others?

If you PO, you only lose the $300. No PO fee. The winter sale is usually their strongest sale. We have bought and sold a few there over the last few years.

Just remember that after the entry fee, sales commission, as well as gas and travel expense is deducted from final sale price you might be better off taking less for the horse at home rather than entering him in a sale. I have sold at Triangle Sales and consider it a good sale, but do your homework first.
