Iβve been using it little over a month now and it has not made mine hot. I think they just feel better from being natural so some might get to feeling to good. Lol I wish it would pep up one of mine.

Renew Gold Senior is a little higher in total energy than the original Renew Gold formula. It is designed for actively used Senior horses and heavy use younger performance horses. So, having more digestible energy makes perfect sense. In trials, we did see faster recovery times, and that barrel horses fired better. Energy lacking focus is never a goal, and we did not see that in any of the horses in our trials. However, every horse is different, so Senior may make some horses slightly hotter, even though we did not see that in our development testing.

It could cause ulcer being high in starch and fed a lot at one time.

Renew Gold Senior is Not high in starch, not fed in high amounts and will not promote ulcers. Pretty off base assessment. It provides Anti inflammatory and anti bacterial effects high in the digestive system from itβs Lauric content. At recommended feed rates it, in fact, functions in a anti-ulcer way. Total starch contribution from a recommended one pound per day feeding is only 68 grams. That is 1/3 less than 2 pounds of a 10% low starch feed, which would normally be fed at a significantly higher feed rate and contribute more starch and sugars to the total daily diet.
