Location: western Nebraska | Another thing to remember is that if you get to the semis-and they especially all the way to the American-you had better be riding a rodeo horse. As much noise and commotion going on-a super nice jp 1d horse that hasn't been around that kind of stuff is not going to have much chance against a seasoned rodeo horse.
It looked to me like reading through the people that won at the qualifiers-a lot of them were riding really nice horses but not RODEO horses. JMO

Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | I would love it if they made it a yearly event. I don't have a horse right now ready to go but have a couple youngsters I have high hopes for in a few years. I can't wait to start them next spring and work on them. I miss competing and would try just for the adventure! |

Last year, Hope wasn't willing to pay the fee. Plus the college rodeo at Sheridan was the same weekend as the Loveland qualifier. I already plan on having her talk to her rodeo coach about the dilemma. She needs to for sure! That little horse can hang with anyone. If I had the horse, I'd be trying to get there.
V, if only they would have had this in the Spanky and Rambo days... |
