I got a new to me living quarters trailer and the microwave doesn't work. The lady I got the trailer from said to go buy a new one and let her know and she will refund me. But are trailer microwaves different from regular ones? Do I have to get a special RV microwave is what I'm asking? Or can I just get one the same size as what is in there from any store. I'm a bit naive in this department.

There not made special for living quarters trailers, just go get one from Wal-Mart.

Ye, when you take the old one out you will see where it plugs in.. Just like a home socket.

One thing to check.  Mine went out the first of April.  I called our local RV dealer and they trouble shot it with me.  I had traveled some really rough roads and the microwave had come unplugged.  Sometimes the plug in is visable but mine was behind the microwave in an enclosed cabinet.  I had to take out about 6 screws, pull out a face plate and then pulled the microwave out to find the cord dangling.  Plugged it in and all was fixed.  Maybe you'll have as easy a fix as I did.  If not go to Wally World.
