Can anyone shed light on what they cost?  Can you pinpoint an area?

I did the entire horse at A&M.  It was around $1,300 and I got some good answers.

A friend of mine had it done seems like it was like $1500.00. they literally did his front both legs and I thought shoulder.
Did what they find solve the problem....no. So I'm not sure if they even found anything Js

Oooo- secretive!  I've had bone scans done from 1200 to 1500.  They are worth the money for an unidentifiable lameness for sure- they will zero in on what is damaged..

You also have to keep in mind, that you may have additional diagnostic tests after the bone scan.  We did quite a few more ultrasounds, x-rays, nerve blocks, etc etc etc..... after we had new clues from the bone scan.

yes keep this in mind. I got to look at a bone scan on Monday and it was interesting for sure. Not what I expected it to look like. The way she described it is that they are good for localizing an area so you then direct your other imaging modalities there to investigate.
