| How much do you feed your horse? do you feed it to your dogs too? I was given a huge bag of food grade and I don't know what to do with it all |

| You can do a search on here. I don't feed it to my horses but you can. I use it for fly control in the barn, around the feed bins, ants, I put on the belly of the horses to keep flies away. Look it up on the internet for all the uses for DE. I put it around the foundation of my house to keep bugs out especially the scorpions. |

This is where I order mine from. Look around on their website, good information. Be sure you get the FOOD GRADE. I also order the book they have that tells of all the uses. I also use it on myself for hot humid skin rashes that I break out from. Also Tractor Supply has it which I have used also in the past but I like the one on the above website better. I get the 50 lb, it is a gray bag with a picture of a horse on the front. |

| thanks for the replies. I'll do a search and try to find out what to do with it all LOL. I have sprinkled it around for ants, bugs and such but I don't seem to keep up on that like I should! |

Location: Bastrop, TX | If you want to use it as a dewormer for your horses, I feed all of mine about 1/2 cup twice a day. Have for a very long time. I have had fecal samples done and no eggs, no worms. I will still do a paste wormer when bot flies are real bad but that's about it.
I know a man that takes 1/2 tsp himself everyday mixed in a juice. I can't imagine it but my horses have never refused to eat their grain with it mixed in it.
Edited to add: yes it can be fed to dogs and cats. Not sure how much but I would imaging you could google it and find out.
