Living in LQ trailer-hot water question

I'll be living in my LQ trailer for a few months and want to know what is better for hot water- propane or electric? I want to keep it running full time and the less hassle the better. Thanks for any input!

If you get an RV water heater it should be both.

It is, so im wondering what one I should keep it on? The guy I bought it from said to run both if we'll be taking multiple showers, one right after the other, but we won't usually due to our schedules.

both will heat the same, Propane maybe a smidge faster but not fast enough to have to worry with the extra prpane usage and cost.
Do electric

If you're going to be plugged in to shore power, I would use electric. If you use your propane, you will have the added expense of refilling the bottles.

RE: Living in LQ trailer-hot water question
Keep in mind your LQ is plugged into a 30 amp breaker outside your trailer ..
so turn some lights off and no microwave when you know the hot water
heater is running .... or you can easily trip the breaker and have no power ..
and maybe no refrigerator power since most LQ's are on electric only ..
Most of us RV people will keep our 6 gallon hot water tanks turned
off for the reason above ... no surprises while lying in bed watching
TV at midnight .. when it comes on to keep the water hot ..
It takes less than 30 minutes to heat up the tank for showering purposes ..
then turn it off when not needed ...
Something else that is handy ... are the inexpensive 80 LED solar powered
outside motion sensor lights ... they have mounting brackets to be placed
at your front door ... and will come on if there is any movement outside
in their range of 20-40 ft ... put your solar cells in the sun to charge the
battery ..... these are also great for barn entry doors or to point down
the alleyway to tell you something is moving around in the barn ...
Mine were on sale for $35-40 on Amazon ... also a hand crank LED lantern
is a must anymore ... one minute of cranking will give you 45 minutes of
light vs a candle and good for flats, hooking up or whatever ... my flashlights
seem to always have dead batteries in them ... lol
