I'm possibly picking up a 3YO, that's nearly 15.3, but doesn't seem to be as filled out as I like. I realize he's still young and growing, but what would you recommend feeding to help him? Thanks in advance. :-)

All the good hay he can eat, pasture grass in the spring is usually really good at putting a bloom on one as well. THE Muscle Mass will provide the vitamins/minerals/amino acids and fills in lean muscle.

Free choice alfalfa? Hay or cubes? Does it matter? Grain wise?

I prefer grass hay with some alfalfa. Just not a fan of free choice alfalfa personally. I don't like processed grain if you can avoid it, but in small amounts it is fine. Never believed in growing one up/filling one out with grain.
