Location: In The Snow, AZ | Shoot, I would LOVE to win a trophy saddle. Not sure how that would get old. Also love winning buckles. One thing I'd kinda like to win is a nice hat. Only because I need to buy one though and don't want to spend the money. |

| Trophy saddles YES, but I like the idea where you get to pick the trophy saddle you want. Trophy saddles are always about 14" seats and some need bigger, some need smaller. The way our association does it, is you get $2000 to spend on a trophy saddle of your choice. Once you pick the one you want, size etc, then they order it and have it ready for the awards presentation etc. That way everyone is happy with what they get. If your saddle costs more than $2000 then you just pay the difference. In my case I received a super high quality saddle I could actually use ($3000 value) for 1,000. Same association does " Shopping spree" for places 2-5. Each place gets so much money to spend on whatever they want/need from a custom tack maker. I want to say 2nd was 500, 3rd 250 4th 150 and 5th 100.

| IMO saddle certificates are better. That way you can work with the maker to get what you want. Trophy saddles don't do much advertising for a producer if they are the wrong size or don't fit the horse.
I like nice jackets, headstalls, back on track stuff, buckles. And cash, I really like cash. |

One race up here gives away travel panels as a prize... pretty sweet idea. |
