I tried it last august at a big barrel race. I actually used it on myself.  Made a huge difference, i was actually calm and could think.  only tried it on mt one horse once.  not sure if it helped her or not  she has anxiet at gate/alley.  I plan on using it more this summer  our season ended before i got to use it really on the horses

How much did you take when you took it yourself?

Well... I haven't tried it but I came to the BHW board to search for threads about it.   I want to try it and was also looking for input.

I've used it twice on my mare and felt like it helped her. She's not bad just gets a little fidgy before we run. I got some samples from my vet and went ahead and bought a bottle. I'd be interested to know how much you took yourself? Would help if I could have my head on when I run! LOL :)

I tried it in December. I gave my mare 3/4 of the string and myself 1/4. I think I noticed a difference for me and I don't get "nervous" really just too many things running through my mind. I felt like it made me some in a little more. My mare is pretty solid minded so I can't say that I noticed anything with her. I still have two syringes left. I may try it this weekend on her bc I've been doing some sprinting drills and have her a little more on point.
