| Alright ladies, I need your help. I've been trying saddles on my mare recently and it seems like the Crown C fits my horse the best but I've heard both good and bad things about it. I've also looked into the Martin Racer and Sherri Cervi saddles, what are your opinions about all of them? Which one do you like best and why? Thank you!! |

| The crown c keeps you centered, some say you ride on your crotch more. The horn is skinnier. The crown c is designed to sit behind the shoulder so I would suggest getting your horse fitted by a professional Martin fitter as the theory behind the saddle is different. Martin racer I found sits you on your pockets more, the horn is shorter. Both are nice quality. |

I love my Crown C, but its not for all horses out there, whats the bad that you heard about the Crown C? I have had the Martin Racer and the Sherry Cervi, but the C is my favorite, I like how the horn is a bit taller and has more swell then the other two and more of a pocket to seat you more in the center, but the Martins are really nice saddles. |

Location: Utah | I've had all three and I just don't like the feel of the crown c, I feel like I'm riding on my crotch and can't sit down. After numerous phone calls and long talks with Brian, he told me to go with the Martin Racer that it would fit my style more and he was right on, I don't have that problem with either the original Cervi or the Martin Racer. I love my original Cervi on my really free horses and my Martin Racer on my more ratey horses. I've been riding Martin's since 05 and have tried other saddles but always come back to these. I think you need to find what fits you, ride other people's if you can and then decide. I have friends who love their Crown C saddles, they just didn't fit me. |

I love the butt pocket on the Crown C and have no problem riding in it. I find it to be comfortable. However, I did try a Pozzi and I like the security of the seat a little better, but am not selling my Crown C. It is a great saddle. |

Location: SE Missouri | After going through 15 saddle in two years I am very happy I settled on the Crown C. There were no Martin Racers close for me to try but I couldn't be happier with my Crown C purchase. I have two. I never really had a saddle with this much front end but with my hard turning horse and riding colts I have really appreciated having even if I don't need it. I don't feel trapped and don't get shifted around either. I just found the saddle that has the sweet spot I have been looking for!! |

Location: Kaufman, Texas | ?I just got the crown c with the 7 inch gullet. I love it! I didn't even think about it when I ran in it for the first time. My horse gets low on his front end when he turns, I stayed right in the middle. It fits my horse great! Good luck choosing |

| I have a Crown C and a SC original. I love both saddles, they are both comfy and fit good. I like making runs in my Crown C better I feel more secure and I like the taller horn. The Crown C has more of a pocket that hold you in but you can move around also if you need to. I ride with shorter stirrups, some of the ppl that don't like the Crown Cs that I know of ride with longer stirrups. I feel like the Crown C sets me on pockets but is easy to get up out of it if I need to. |
