Is Dish better than direct tv ?  And does that mean everybody likes satellite better than cable?

I have Dish and have always been happy with it, but I've never lived anywhere where I could get cable!  I pay about $85/month for a decent amount of channels.

You would probably be better off asking friends/neighbors who they have as a cable provider, since different areas have different companies.

My parents have had Direct TV for at least 15 years I'd say. If that's not a testament, I don't know what is!  They've had no issues and I  think they have really good customer service as well.

We've had DirectTV for the last few years and like it.
