| after last nights runs, I wanted to throw my sucker in the dirt and quit playing.
I message my dear friend Duane Peters, told him I was sick and tired of working my butt off with these horses, and it not paying off at races. I felt like a failure.
Duane reminded me, that success in our eyes is different than God's.
We tend to measure success in winning, finances, careers because our culture rewards it. Success in God's eyes is based on obedience to God Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter began to speak " I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right." Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Sometimes , rather than be ready to quit, be discouraged, frustrated, BE THANKFUL, GLORY TO GOD, GOD HAS CHOSEN to be example a vessel to BE FAITHFUL in the storms, in , through, and out.
When we stand before God in the judgment it will not matter what the world thought of us. How success we were according to its standard is meaningless! Did we obey the Lord? This is the question to dwell and consider.
He who dies with the most toys, still dies, when all is said and done that is the plain truth.
Mark 8:36 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world , yet forfeit his soul?
Our condition before God alone determines success or failure.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing , whether it is good or evil.
May each of see things as God would have us see them.
Seven Markers of Success:
1 Your soul, which means intimacy with God.
2 Your oneness with your mate
3 Your joint venture of preparing your children to live a successful life
4 Your restoring and maintaining your relations
5 Your stewardship of al your physical resources
6 Your use of your gifts and abilities to advance the Kingdom
7 Your loving others, sharing into the Gospel of Christ through actions and words
Its never to late to aim for success in God's eyes. No person achieve success in these seven areas apart from the continual gift of God's righteousness, and grace.
It must be all of grace or it will be a failure in God's eyes! Therefore, having the right aim will not be enough. In fact, every attempt to live up to God's standards without trusting Christ alone is guaranteed disappointment and frustrate you.
God extends special graces to His people by providing vessels to demonstrate and teach how to succeed.
I pray by me sharing my personal journey, helps me be a vessel for you toward your success with God.

THANKS, been snowed under, went to Weatherford, Ok Sunday night came back late Tuesday see doctor on my plantar fascittis in foot been dealing with over year my little dog had seizure, rushed him to vet, took mare to vet for stifles been getting silent auction items ready for auction next week. and riding 5 horses.
