Regular Posts: 85	So I have a bad glow plug and have heard that it is not an urgent fix.. I will be getting it fixed within the next couple weeks but just wanted to see if anyone else can reassure what others have told me.. I have an 06 chevy duramax.

Bulls Eye Posts: 6443 Location: Oklahoma	The glow plug is what heats the fuel when the truck is started. So, until the weather gets cold, it's not a huge emergency

A Cool Sharp One	must be that time of year, my 08 with 91,000 miles just had to have a glow plug replaced
