ATLANTA – A Georgia man whose son died after he was left in a hot car for seven hours has been charged with murder in the toddler's death.
A Cobb County grand jury on Thursday indicted Justin Ross Harris on multiple charges including malice murder, felony murder and cruelty to children. Harris has been in jail since his arrest the day his son died.

Harris has told police he was supposed to drive his son to day care the morning of June 18 but drove to work without realizing that the child was strapped into a car seat in the back.
A police detective testified at a hearing in July that Harris was sitting in his office exchanging nude photos with several women the day his son died. |

| I certainly don't know if he is guilty or not but I am glad this case is going to trial. There were just too many odd things about it, stopping for breakfast but forgetting about him in the 1/2 mile to work from the breakfast place, going to the car at lunch but not noticing hte toddler still in the car, putting the toddler back in a rear facing car seat when he had been in a forward facing larger car seat. |

Him researching how long it takes for an animal to die in a hot car was the kicker for me, that alone makes him look guilty as hell.
That poor baby left alone to suffer like that, so sad. |

Yep, forgot about that one and the mother going to pick her son up at daycare, was told he was never dropped off and her first words are "Ross must have forgot him in the car." |

| Not to steal the thread but did anyone see the recent hot car death in MD? I'm wondering why it didn't get the national news coverage that this one did.
