My nephew will do it for free but I need get to NC. And have some one house sit while I'm gone... My nephew is a great artist and the only person I feel comfortable fixing the mess that I have. SO airline ticket from OKC to NC somewhere around 500.00 and house sitting I'm guessing about 100 depending how long I stay. I did check some flights and they are all between 400 and 500. |

My mom always said people can't help you if they don't know you need it. So with that being said, I could use some help
My whole story is quite long but I'll abbreviate some of it. In 1989 I had a horse accident that totally tore my knee ligaments up and had to have 3 surgeries to get them working. In 1990 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease, I was told they could cure me... YAY they did with a lot of radiation. Then in 2000 I had to have triple bypass heart surgery. No heart attack YAY again. 2001 my house burned to the ground. No one or animals were inside and I was out of state. YAY I had insurance that covered most of it. In 2011 I got injured on the job and was forced to resign in order for my workers comp to pay, long story. Also in 2011 because of my injury at work I fell and broke my pelvis, so even if I thought I could go back to work I am unable to stand or walk more than 20 minutes at a time. I have filed for social security dissability and am still waiting for the court system to make a decision. My lack of a job with health insurance I qualified for a state funded insurance.Now in 2012 I get informed that I have breast cancer. The state health insurance covered just about everything, I had chemo where I lost my hair and had days I could barely get out of bed. My two boy along with my sisiter and friends were really helpful through all this. InAug of 2013 I had a masectomy, insurance would only remove the one with the cancer at this point. I would have just let them take them both and been done with it. The only way to have a double masectomy paid for by my insurance is to have them reconstructed. Many times the plastic surgeon will just rebuild one to match the healthy one. This was not possible in my case as my breast were very large. 42GG no that is not a misprint. Because of my previous cancer's radiation, my surgeon had to graft skin off my back in order to have enough healthy tissue to make breasts, this was the most painful thing I have ever had to endure. My surgeon kept on telling that my new breasts would be way better than what I had and all this will be worth it. I was to have my last surgery to get my nipples tattooed in August 2014, we had everything set to go, when I get a letter from my health insurance on Aug 17th telling me I have been dropped. I called everyone I know to figure this out..Really one thing left and NOW they drop me? I get no where with the state and call for obamacare. Of course had I called before the 14th of the month I'd have insurance Sept 1st instead I don't have it until Oct. 1st. I finally get my last surgery on Nov 10th. So you can imagine my dissappointment when it is all done and my nipples look like a 4 year old got ahold of the tattoo gun, she says"We don't have the same tattoo equipment or color pallet as a tattoo artist, and I'm not a tatoo artist."
Now I'm thinking I could have used the money I spent for my deductible for a tattoo artist that would know what he's/she's doing. So I'm left with breasts that are NOT better than what I had, and I'd be embarassed to show them to anyone. Good thing I don't have a man in my life right now, he wouldn't be seeing them either.
I've worked as a machinist for the last 35 years, working 7 days a week for most of it. During that time I financially raised my 2 wonderful boys alone. Thier dad was physically there but not financially. My older son is in his last year of college and my baby joined the army and is currently in Kuwait. My older son has had a hard time staying in school, as he says he could work fulltime and help me with my bills, I've convinced him to stay in school so far.
What I'll be using the money for?
1. Airline ticket to NC for nephew to fix nipple tattoo.
2. House sitter while I'm gone
3. Left over medical expenses |
