Location: Do I hear Banjos? | Had a friend that used one...could probably get the contact info.
Personally I see it as a form of entertainment only. Like a palm reader or psychic or reading your horoscope. Maybe I'm just to cynical.
Another friend had a dog get spooked and run off at the LBJ grasslands. We searched and searched and put signs up everywhere. She talked to a communicator that first told her the dog was still out there weeks later...then changed her mind and said the dog was now telling her that it was tied up outside a yellow house.
Turned out the dog had been picked up by other trail riders the day it was lost. Those same folks came back to ride again a few weeks later and saw the lost dog signs. So...she got the dog back. However...it was not still at the grasslands weeks later and it was never at a yellow house. So...make of that what you will. |

Location: London Ontario | A friend of ours had one come in just for the H*** of it and I thought it was very entertaining but a waste of money and time. She said the one gelding was grumpy and anti-social because he wanted to be named something like Spike rather then what his real barn name was and it really upset him hence why he was the way he was....I don't know but that seems silly to me... |

It wasn't a "bad" experience. First time I called one, she was all about selling her products. She didn't even address the horse's issues.
Second and third experience was with a different woman. In hindsight, I gave her too much starting information, so anyone who knew anything about horses can figure out the issues and then just fill in the blanks. Like everyone else said, entertainment purposes only. Never again for me. |

Location: At the race track with Ah Dee Ohs | I've used one twice. Very good experience both times. She nailed everything about all of them. All I gave her was barn name, age and color..that's it. |

Location: Hill Country of TEXAS!! | When you get a reading for animals and later step back and reevaluate the reading and your horse from what you truely know about that animal, you start to laugh and see how cookie cutter the information you recieved was.. other stuff is just false. I called for a specific issue on a horse and i had to ask specific questions for everyone so she could give me info.. If its real, i should be able to say the name ( if even that) and she should spout it all out and it should be spot on.. Sometimes a horses name fits the horse and they go off that and get lucky :) I agree with others, its entertainment but not something to change your entire routine from :) |
