I'm really thinking its time to go back to school. Ill be 25 in a few week and I'm really feeling the "want" to go back. I have a great job with a great company but its not exactly the field I would of picked. I'm currently my Marketing Company's Feild Relief Manager. I'm in charge of auditing, policies and procedures for 10 different stores within my company.

They will pay me to go back to school if it relates to my career now. Im thinking Business Management but more specifically Agricultural Business Management. Is there someone on here with this degree or close to it? Do you have a job related to your degree? Is there a demand in this field? Pros/Cons?

Go back, get a degree, work in that field and if you do not find satisfaction in that field, go back get another in something you might really like. I went back to school at age 40 for nursing. Medical fields are hot now and will only get hotter. I'd suggest that for you too. So many different areas in the medical field, so much you can do.

Thanks for the advice. I feel like I'm getting to old to go back to school so that's really encouraging to see. I like business and numbers and things of that nature. I'm hoping a Business Management Degree will give me a bit of an edge.

A lot of times, it's not so much what your degree is in, but that you have a degree.  If you are wanting to do something specific (like nursing, for example) you would obviously need a nursing degree.  A business management degree would likely be the "in" that you need for a lot of different jobs.  You could do a minor in ag business if you wanted to go more towards that field.

I have a degree in Ag Business, and right out of college my first 2 jobs were definitely not what I would want to do for the rest of my life. So, I went back to school and took a bunch of accounting classes, and now work for a large row crop farm and handle all of the finance & accounting.  I absolutely love it and will hopefully be there the rest of my career.  So, just follow your natural interests and hopefully you'll fall into something perfect for you!

I have an Ag-business degree and farm with my family, but others I know with the same degree are all over the place, career-wise.  Sales reps for chemical/seed companies, researchers, bankers, extension agents, one is now a baptist preacher, insurance salesmen, politicians, USDA, FSA, Tyson...  Apparently it's very versatile.

Super helpful! Thank you. I'm going to start with my Business Management Degree and go from there.

Thanks for the input. Quit a variety of careers there.
