| It has been one of those days where you have been working with a colt all week and today they act like you have NEVER done it before. OH the JOYS of colts, 10 steps backwards 2 steps forward. I guess it makes it when they really get all that much sweeter. |

Mine was a train wreck when he started. He has a SUPER stubborn personality. Too smart for his own good, and " pig eyed" to boot, so found every opprotunity to dump the girl riding him.. Lol he even developed a move we dubbed the " Goodbye Marry Move "... but MAN am I ever proud as a peacock now. Once it clicked, I swear he now has the mentality of 6 year old instead of a 3 year old. He's super curious instead of confrontational now, and eager to try new things. =) It's worth it!  |

Location: So. Cali. | Just when I think I'm over that hump with my colt, he likes to suprise me with a, I've never done this before!?! He's coming 5 this year, late bloomer, slow maturer, some days he's like a curious obnoxious 2yr old colt again, other days he rides like a dead head 20yr old. I'm starting to see things clicking and coming together, so there is hope. Colts are mentally and physically challenging.
