Location: Texas	Hey y'all, I'm Tiffany. I'm a 17 year old girl from Sanger, Tx. I seriously want to do a barrel racing internship this summer. I have my basics down and have been around the pattern a few times but I've never really done constant lessons due to financial issues. I finally got my parents approval to do a summer internship. I was wondering if y'all knew anyone I could internship with? I have places to stay in Sanger, Abeline, Stephenville, Mineral Wells, Weatherford, and maybe a few other towns here in Texas. If its a live in internship then it can be anywhere in the U.S. I would love a opportunity to learn barrel racing more and maybe enter my first rodeo or jackpot if thats even possible. I would love to work with someone who will teach me the ropes of barrel racing and take me to rodeos and such so I can have that experience as well. Im willing to do any internship I can possibly get. I just really want this experience of a lifetime and I'm willing to work my butt off for it. Its been something I've wanted to do since I was born. Don't Wanna Make This Awkward Posts: 3106 Location: Texas	I honestly can't think of anywhere that is gonna give you exactly what you want. A lot of horse people need the cash more than they need the help. I would honestly just ask anyone. You're best bet is gonna be with someone who isn't super well known. Or maybe even try a different event like cutting horses or reining.. I know Pete Oen usually hires help and provides a place to stay but it's no given "summer internship" and most "summer internship" type things I see cost money.

Professional Amateur Posts: 6750 Location: Oklahoma	Feel free to message me. I have summer interns every summer. They stay with me and they get worked hard. Interns are allowed to bring a horse for me to help them with. I have my 2016 interns lined up, but if something falls through, we have at least been in contact.

One focusing on breeding (AI, 20+ embryo transfers, foaling 20 mares, etc.) the other is our Colt Starting internship where we take 4-5 people and start our 2 year olds through my advanced training program.
