Not even the Lone Ranger faced life alone he had Tonto! Learn three lessons today about the importance of friendship. (1) Two are more personally profitable than one. The New Living Translation puts the verse this way: " Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get better return for their labor. (2) Two are more personally protected than one. " For if they fall , one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls v 10. When we fall down or get knocked down, we need someone to pick us up. (3) Two or more personally powerful than one. " Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him v 12. Marines are trained to dig foxholes big enough for two. Don't fight the wars of life alone; do it in twos. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, now will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls. For he has no one help him up. Again , if two lie down together , they will,keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. For it is WITH God all things are possible. Father God, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You. Help me to be a friend to someone in need.
