Neat baby. Her auntie is a world champion so she has a bright future ahead.

RE: NEW POT OF GOLD AT MY BARN
I am doing something I never thought I would do when breeding for a
barrel horse and that is to crossover to some of the most successful cutters
and reiners that have built their breeding reputations by producing foals that
have earned millions of dollars in the past 5 generations!!
I will be breeding to AUTOMATIC CAT. an unproven young stallion, due to an
injury that has one of the richest pedigrees you will find on todays choice
of stallions.
AUTOMATIC CAT ..
click on any sire or dam in the first 3 generations to see
why I am making this decision ... along with the many small
arenas that now have fantastic barrel event payouts ..

One look at his sire SMOOTH AS A CAT
His dam Autumn Boon
2nd dam Royal Blue Boon
and watching this video should keep you busy for some time ..

I know it's a barrel site, but that stud stirs my cutter blood

RE: NEW POT OF GOLD AT MY BARN
After watching this video you will wonder why you can't get a 22 month old
barrel horse back from a trainer with moves, focus and working like this in 90 days.
Leon Harrel with SMOOTH RIDIN CADDY ...
by Smooth As A Cat ...
Bridle less with training collar...
see if you can figure out what the buckles are for..
Watch him have a training plan
watch him settle the cattle
watch him make the cut on a cow
watch the horse follow the riders eyes
watch the controlled moves to follow his pick
watch horse respond
Watch his hands,
watch his fingers,
Watch how to turn left
watch how to turn right
watch hand downward pressure
watch how he stops
watch his legs
watch his feet
watch his toes
watch how he holds the horse still
watch how to sensitize the horses neck with one "rein" at a time
watch horse move away from pressure
Watch how he lifts the "reins/collar"
Watch how he lifts to cue certain things
watch how he gets the horse to focus
watch how he gives the horse a job to do
No snatchin ..
No jerkin..
No kickin
No naggin
No screamin
No cussin
No leg flopping
No posting at the trot
No sore kidneys on the horse
No runaways
No drama
No saddle fit problems
(same saddle has fit a 1000 horses
)
No bit problems
No pulling back with a choke hold on the horse
Did you notice he used the same subtle cues to get the horse to
repeat his reaction at different areas of the arena ....??
Would you say the rider was relaxed and focused ??
Did you notice the one major thing you missed??
ANSWER>>>>
How he shifted gears with his hand on the saddle horn's 6 speed
manual transmission... without using a clutch ... hehehee
