When there are times you can't share your struggle with others. What do you do? Get depressed, discouraged. We don't need to make decisions when our emotions are high. Pause, be still, ask "Lord, what would you have me do? LISTEN If you have the relationship with Jesus, you pause, be quiet, think about, pray about it.
1 Samuel 30:6 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, "Bring me the ephod." (which is a garment, vest) Lord, Shall I pursue this raiding party? will I overtake them? Pursue them, Lord answered. You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.
Lord, I am in an impossible situation what do I do. God can speak to your situation like he did for David. David was all alone, to the point one thousand soldiers were to destroy him. David took four hundred soldiers continued the pursuit as the Lord told him. 1 Samuel 30:7-27
How do we encourage ourselves when we have no one else to turn? If you are not right with God. GET RIGHT! Have a genuine prayer of repentance, get clean with Jesus. Asking God to open His word to You. God is pleased and honored when we go to him in prayer.
Encouraging oursleves. recall God's help in previous times of trouble. You are making history your life, when you understand God will always come through for what is best for you.
Discouraged , depressed? Remember what God has already done for you.
This spoke to my heart... 21 years ago I went through divorce from an abusive 12 yr marriage, it took my emotions to an all time low. depressed discouraged, I left, and got nothing in divorce, lost my belongings, horses, trailer etc. no money. I had worked so hard, riding race horses, doing all the barn work, etc. I went to live with my sis K, broken, and broke. God threw me a life line, but I was so depressed I did'n t take it. 6 months later he tried again. again I turned it down. My sister Kay got The Key Grip, I did start him thee first 3 months on barrels. Kay and Llave went on to make history. I'm so proud that she got him. but it made me realize I wasn't listening to God, praying for a way out, but didn't pause, be still, listen to what God was doing. My thought were on my situation, my depression, I blind sided my own self.
I realize God has been there all along when I wasn't, He has healed me of ruptured appendix, shattered ankle, broke hand, breast cancer, identity theft. He has had my guardian angels over me., crying I recognized God's hand of protection.
OBEY God, usually is first instince that we have, if we pause, be still, and LISTEN. but most of us, get in our own trying to make it out. it hardly ever works, if any. I'm still struggling to get that one barrel horse. working my butt off. But least I am right with God. God will lead us to victory over every situation. TRUST GOD, listen to God, even when you don't understand where he is taking you. My thought was I can't take Llave, I have not way of paying , feeding, etc. God did have a bigger plan, I just didn't see it, blinded by my depression, and situation. funny, how I kept praying for God to help me, when He threw me a line, I didn't take it. LESSON LEARNED, THANK YOU JESUS When you have a personal relationship with God, you will hear , and follow God's plan for you.
HAVE A VERY BLESSED MONDAY AND WEEK
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Thankyou for continueing to share testimony and the word of God.  Though I may not always reply, I cetainly read and feel the peace afterwards.  I wonder how many other people are touched, helped and inspired.....I am positive there are many.  May God continue to bless and speak to you, and you continue to share.  Love in Christ.......

Thank you for today's message.  I know of someone that is living this same story, as we speak. Too blinded by their depression and anger over life's disappointments/problems to see what God has actually done for them.  It is my prayer that this person will recognize themselves in your message today, LJ.  I'm going to try to make sure she at least sees it.  Thanks again.

I appreciate you sharing your story with us.  I seem to be in the same rut you were in.  I think I get it now.  It has helped me see the possibilities.
