Location: Stuck in a cubicle having tropical thoughts | Anybody know if/when he might return to the arena with her? If it's public knowledge, what was his injury that has caused him to be out for so long.
Not that Brittany doesn't have a dozen other superb horses to ride and win on, I'm just curious if we will see Duke run again. |

Yeah He’s Firen, “Duke,” named after well-known trainer LaTricia Duke, came up lame at the Elite Barrel Racing competition in Waco, Texas, on Nov. 15. Dr. Marty Tanner, Duke’s veterinarian, from Elgin Veterinary Hospital in Elgin, Texas, said, “Duke has a deep digital flexor partial tear in the foot and is undergoing bone marrow stem cell regenerative therapy.”

Location: Wyoming | Last I heard (2 months ago) he was about to get the rocker shoes pulled and was swimming. He should be ready to go early next year. |

My horse had the exact injury but also tore away a piece of the navicular bone too. 6 months rest and came back to win on the track and in the arena. |
