| I know we have tons of experts and you have shared. I have been lucky until now... I have a mare that is challenged in the pretty mane & tail department. Please share any tips for growing out a tail that has been chewed. THANKS!!! |

Location: White Mountains of AZ | Mane and Tail Conditioner works awesome. I usually lather their tails and/or mane, braid them and let it soak for a couple days. I know a girl who uses the Olive Oil Spray from Wal-Mart. Her mare chews her geldings tail all the dang time and she swears by that and Original M-T-G which I use as well. :) |

Location: Idaho | I have been trying 'Not Your Mother's' shampoo and conditioner. Its for people. I found it at WalMart. I think each one was $4-$5. It smells really good and is supposed to help grown longer thicker hair, at least on people, so I thought Id give it a try on my horse. Ive used the shampoo and the conditioner and rinsed them both out. But i have also used the conditioner as a leave in on a daily or every other day basis. The horse ive been using it on has a very nice looking and feeling mane and tail since Ive been using it. Plus, like I said, it smells great! Ive even considered using it on myself! :) |

| Thanks everyone!! I heard one time to rinse the tail with COLD water everyday and it would promote growth. Has anyone tried that? |

Location: NeverLand | I got my 3yr old off the track they pulled his mane so it was way short maybe 3 inches long. Once it was a little longer i put it up in braids 24/7 and it has grown a lot! |
