I've tried to google it, but it seems all the uses are for plain Jane stock and mine was cooked with lots of brown sugar. It was very tasty and I hate to throw it out! What could I do with it besides toss it?? Oh and Happy Thanksgiving!

Toss in some salt... plus the beans will soak up some of the sugar with and leave no taste...

oh yes ham and beans. yummmmmmmmm and the sweetness will definitely enhance the ham and beans it's so good! I only use dry beans and soak them, etc. myself which helps with some of the absorption. Canned beans are just yucky.

I might be late to this dog and pony show, just freeze it as it and use later as needed. The sugar doesn't do a thing to it's safety for future use.
