Does anyone have any good reccomendations on compression sleeves? Brands, sizing tips, do they even work?
why i ask you say? well we went on a motorcycle vacation and during our day rides aprox 8 hrs in 90degree weather after two days my feet were so swollen i couldnt hardly get my boots on. Was both feet. Has never happened before. I also have signed up to work our state fair horse & pony show which is 12hr+ days on my feet in boots and wondered if the sleeves would help with fatigue?

I'm no expert on this one - but my mother tried them and just hated them. Could barely get them on and off with someone helping her. The doctor sized her I believe. In her words to me - don't ever waste your money on them. But....just her opinion and I'm sure there are others that have had good success with them.

When I am riding, I use the Tony Lama tall boot socks. They are snug enough they are almost like compression sleeves. They are long enough they go up to just below my knee and they do not slide down at all.

When I travel my legs blow up. I have a cheap pair of copper tall socks that worked pretty good but the Tommie Copper ones rock. They are thin and not bulky so they are very comfortable.

I've used the ones for running … I like them … you have to get the right size though. I like to use them to run long distances. I've tried the Tommie Copper on my ankle
(tore the ligaments about 4 years ago and still have pain now and then
) and I didn't really notice anything. You might want to try the ones recommended for airline travel as a start. I think they sell them at the drugstore.

I use Tommy Copper gear. I have a bad knee, and it really helps.

I bought compression socks at Dick's sporting goods and I love them. Can't go without them. They are pricey but totally worth it. The keep the swelling down great.
