Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | Bought my guy off the track in October of 13 he got run through a fence and cut up his hock. Out for 8 months. In February of 15 he tried to founder on us. Got the inflammation down and the rotation went away. He was left with accesses all summer and is now clear but has a lot of hoof damage and it has all take a toll on his body. I'd like to put him on something to help his body recoup and repair over all. What do y'all suggest? He is currently on Seminole wellness dinosport. |

| I would go to the secondvet.com forum and tell Dr. Schell what has been going on with your horse. His Cur Ost products are amazing. He has done and is continuing to do a lot of research on inflammation and it's effects on our horses' gut, joints, feet, etc. |

I know Herbie and plenty of others have had great success with Cur-ost. I use Platinum CJ and love how my horses look and act on it. |

| I use curost products from secondvet.com for one of my boys - but for mine that was ott the best sup for him is animal elelment detox it really makes HUGE difference for him mentally - if I take him off he is back to a bundle of nerves where you feel like he needs DRUGS - put him back on ae detox and he is just as good as gold - also it is awesome for the feet and you can call michelle French at animal element and she is loaded with info. , and the detox is the sup they use for abcesses - I have had a couple of friends who had abcess problems and they were really shocked at the difference the detox made- its also great for ulcers ,mental, topline and a really shiney coat - its also very inexpensive -love the stuff |

| one more thing I highly highly recommend looking online at pete rameys info on feet hoofrehab.com the info I have learned has been incredible and with the issues you have seen I wouldn't just leave it up to farrier and vet to tell me what to do I would really educate myself on the pete ramey method - I ended up taking over my own horses feet because I couldn't get one of my horses to stay sound (he had some rotation) from a club foot and all the info I was given by professionals actually was causing more harm than good- we are only 6 weeks into me taking over but my horse is back to running, bucking and playing again. it is so nice to see him feeling good again. |

Location: NE Texas | I would highly recommend going to www.secondvet.com and posting. I love the Cur-OST products and will never be without them in my barn. The dramatic results I have seen not only with my horse in particular, but with other horses that were previously given up on due to extreme behavioral or soundness issues, as well as one of my coworkers who suffers from crippling fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. After years of going to specialists, high doses of pain medications and the side effects from those, she is now off of all pain meds and is feeling better than ever. The support offered through the forum at the Second Vet site is amazing....the support just beings with the purchase of the product, it doesn't end there. The first step in restoring health in ourselves and our horses is getting the gut working efficienlty and removing the contributors to any potential inflammation in the body (ie processed feeds, supplements with synthetics and preservatives, etc). If you research Leaky Gut Syndrome, you will see how the gut is the home base for 90% of the immune response. If the gut isn't functioning properly, we and our horses can have many other symptoms from arhtritis, to allergies, to COPD, and much more as a result. The absolute first step I would take is to get this horse on a clean diet of whole oats and alfalfa or an alfalfa blend, then I would probably start him on the EQ Rejuvenate and the EQ Total Support to get the gut functioning and manage the inflammation.
