Location: Mountains of VA | Advice for lighting an arena that is 100 X 200. This is for personal use only. I have started doing a little research...........it is so confusing! Not many knowledgeable people where we live.
I'm thinking for several hours 4 to 5 nights a week.

Location: "Si Fi" Ville | I just purchased LED lights from a company online. I had a friend who is a very knowledgeable electrician that helped me determine the area and they type of light to best serve my situation which is same as yours. They are LED outdoor floodlights that cover a lot of ground and use very little electricity. We will be putting them up in the coming week. I like the LED for several reasons, minimum electricity use, does not need to be as large a unit or as heavy, life of the unit(I hate changing bulbs and have poor luck with bulbs), brighter, whiter light, doesn't require as many fixtures, and price. I put LED light fixtures in my barn and am thrilled. This was the best move I made. I ordered the LE 240W LED outdoor floodlights and will be putting them up in our small arena 100 x 90 and the large arena 200 x 250. |

Please let me know how you like the lights. My only free time from farm work to train horses is in the middle of the day. During the summer it is rough. Finally going to put up lights so I can work horses late in the day and after dark.
