Location: TN | I have a 16 year old horse who needs some more muscle and a healthier coat just wondering about this feed. It's expensive but I love the looks of it: cp 14% fat 10% cf 18% Nsc 16%.
Has anyone tried it? |

Location: N Texas | I've been feeding it to my senior gelding for probably close to a year now. I really like it a lot. I started out feeding him 3 lbs in the morning and 4 in the evening with a flake of alfalfa, but I've changed it up a little so that it's more cost effective. I now feed 2 lbs of soaked alfalfa pellets (it weighs 2 lbs dry before adding water) and 1 lb of Renew Gold in the morning, and 3 lbs of Senior Active with one flake of alfalfa in the evening. He is thriving on that combo. This pic is from September 2015 at 28 years old, when he was just on the senior feed and alfalfa hay. He maintained his condition all through winter and looks great today.
I should add that he always has free-choice hay, he just isn't able to chew it all that well. So the soaked alfalfa pellets and senior feed help tremendously.

Location: East Texas | We have our 23 year old on it and he has blossomed! He gets soaked alfalfa cubes, too. My grandson just did a playday on him this weekend and he has plenty of gas in the tank and looks really good!! |

Thank you for the tips! Your horse looks wonderful!! My boy can still eat hay well and gets all he wants so this might be a good feed for him. |

In fact, we had to put a little more bit on him because he ran so strong... that is how good he felt!!! LOL

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I absolutely love it! I have a 40ish pony on it and when my 23 yr old gelding is in from pasture he gets it. Wonderful for keeping weight. If you have to feed a processed feed, this is a great feed. |
