Let's say you are seasoning a young colt and you have two different places you could trailer to. Location "A" is 30 minutes away, $48 the first time you sign up (club member fee) and is $8 per exhibition/run. Location "B" is a little over an hour away, $5 for 1 exhibition, $10 for two exhibitions, and $13 for 3 exhibitions.
I'm trying to figure out which place would be the best place to go money wise since both places have the same type of atmosphere and things a horse will need to get used to but are different distances.
Any math people on here lol??

Honestly, I would go to both.... Just to get the horse used to different places.  Just because it seems the same for you, does not have to be the same for your horse.
Different sounds, smells and other stuff we do not pick up on that easlily but horses are much more sensitive to stuff like that.
Good luck, and have fun with your baby.

I would go to both. Seasoning horses also includes getting them used to different arenas and different ground.

Definitely B. Lots of barrel races in my area charge a flat rate $5-$10 arena fee, plus $5 per exhibition or 3 for $12/$15.

Just dollars and cents it is cheaper for you to go the extra 30 miles or so and hit place B. The cheaper cost to exhibition more then makes up for the extra fuel. Of course there is also an extra 60-90 minutes of time, if that has any value to you. BUT that would be offset at place A if you are planning on going several times through out the season and that $48 would not be charged again. But you have to go about 7 times for the savings in gas to offset that $48 fee and be cheaper then place B. Does that make sense? it does in my head.   :)

But honestly out and about as much as possible and as many different places as possible is your best bet.

You need to take the horse as many different places as possible if you really plan to season the horse.
