Location: Illinois | One of mine coliced last year hard & the owner of the place I board at raided my trailer. Pulled a bottle that was at least 2 years old & had been in the trailer all year so it got hot and cold. Still worked just fine, just gave 12cc instead of 10cc bc it was old and they gave it in the mouth bc she usually give it in the & i told her never to do that with mine. She was significantly better by the time the vet came, I thought she was going to die before the vet made it. My vet will give me the out of date stuff that he can't sell anymore, he says just try to use it within a year of expiration |

Mine was 4 years but was still clear and had been refrigerated since purchase. We used it, but I ended up having to say goodbye anyway. . . . Been a long long night.

My vet told me if the liquid has changed colors.......it should be clear .....not yellow...... |

I'm so sorry. I saw two colics this weekend, both didn't make it. The one last night was obviously very very bad with a very grave prognosis... the other one started out mild and then took a bad turn. Not a great weekend at all. Sometimes makes me wish I had a desk job lol. |

I think it was his heart or a stroke, ultimately. But it looked like colic to me at first. I had always prayed he would die peacefully in his sleep. But instead I had to make that awful decision. . . . |
