Location: Georgia | I decided to go with the generic Regumate that you give IM (Altrenogest) with hopes I could avoid coming in direct contact with it. Well long story short all didnt go as planned and I got a pretty good amount on my hand, and I didnt think to wash it off immediantly either. It didnt hit my brain that its basically Regumate in a concentrate version until about an hour later  .... How concerned should I be?? Does it have the same affect on humans as Regumate? Im too scared to google it lol |

| my mare gets it weekly in the muscle I have had the needle come off the end of the syringe mid plung and shot it in my face and into my mouth I called my vet immediatly he asked one if I was pregnant I said no he told me to wash my face with warm water and rinse my mouth out and there will be no side effects except it could make my start my period. It did not make me start so I had no effects from it |

Oh thats good news. I got about 1/2 a CC on my hand and washed it off with dawn and water about an hour later. Luckily none in mouth, wow that would be scary! |

Location: Desert Land | I have an IUD and with that I don't normally have a period. However, if I ever accidentally get the injectible altrenogest on me - even just a drop, it gives me horrible cramps and a very heavy period. Sucks!! I went to my doctor and they weren't real concerned about it. |

I have an IUD and with that I don't normally have a period. However, if I ever accidentally get the injectible altrenogest on me - even just a drop, it gives me horrible cramps and a very heavy period. Sucks!! I went to my doctor and they weren't real concerned about it.
oh great lol.... I JUST finished my period so im curious to see how this plays out  |

Location: Illinois | I've gotten Regumate on myself twice, both time caused cramps that knocked me in the fetal position. One time was probably 3-4ml and the other time I had dang near 1/2 the bottle on myself thanks to a barn cat. I didn't get it washed off fast enough. The big spill I ended up having to go to the doctor for because within an hour I had a period and it was a week after I had stopped the regular one. I had to go off the pill and let it naturally fix itself and then go back on. I was screwed up for a few months, but again it was almsot half the bottle lol. Generally I think smaler amounts usually just cause some cramping, but it can be fierce |

Location: Nebraska | I’ve never had any side effects but have never had much on my skin, maybe a drop or two. Mine was oral though. |

LOL I'm a dude and I put gloves on each and every time. I make sure I position myself in such a way that if my mare snorts, spooks, spits , im outta the way. LOL |
