I wouldn't get rid of the newer truck.  For many reasons, most of which you already points out.

would it be feasible to sell both the Malibu and the older truck to pay for an SUV?

ย I have a truck I bought used for work and pulling the trailer, and then I have a kidhaulergroceryandhorsefeedgetter. It's a 2009 Chevy Traverse and I love that thing. ย That's what we use when traveling as a family too.ย

So it does have kids. Rats

ย What is your freakin problem?

Oh, you don't like me commenting on you yet you follow me around and make rude comments? Works both ways. And your name calling got yet another thread deleted.

ย Don't flatter yourself. I can't help it if you're a pot stirrer with no sense of humor. Fly away now. Makes no difference to me which ride you choose to straddle.

You are the pot stirrer since you stalk me. I love your picture. Ass, very very fitting.

seriously lose the drama! like I said in the other thread... Lets keep BHW a happy place in the spirit of those that we've lost and the coming holiday season. Nobody likes or needs drama

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe and LOVE it!  Easy to drive, plenty of room and gets 26 mpg and that's in Dallas traffic.  AWD is an option - didn't get it on mine but it's there.  I think it was $28K and that was loaded.  I had an Acura MDX and I actually like the Santa Fe better - and it's half the price the Acura was.

I'm following with interest :)
I don't think you'll have too much of an issue with 2 kiddos in your situation with your current vehicles - as long as the truck you have is a crew cab, not extended cab. I'll be honest, I would wait until you have the child and see what you feel like your needs are then.
We have 3 going on 4, and currently we have a Taurus that I run around (I take the kids most of the time) and a Megacab. We are talking about what we want to do from here - NDCowgirl - thanks for your post! My taurus is admittedly quite tight with 3, very tight when we all go (and won't be possible when we have 4), but it would be fine with 2 and does AWESOME in snow and crappy weather (all wheel drive). Also has a HUGE trunk. (could fit like 10 bodies in there.... ) My husband generally drives the Megacab (which will fit everyone) because I drive farther into work, so I drive the Taurus. I will generally only have 2 kids with me on a daily basis, so we are going to stick with this arrangement until we figure out what we really want. We've talked about SUVs, and Suburbans and Expeditions did come up, but it's hard when we are on the road and I can't reach the kids!
