The1CowgirlsEnvy - 2013-11-17 6:26 PM My colt is a April baby and is already 15.3 in front and 16 in the back, he string tested to 16.1 so I bet he'll get there. I would post pictures but I'm on ny phone and it doesn't like me.

I'm thinking that the manf. of these measuring sticks must be the same company that is making the calculator that is figuring the 20+mpg of the these modern pick ups.

I am NOT a fan of big horses, and I have been super concerned that my filly is going to be big. After reading this post, she might just be considered a runt! I have a March 2012 baby & she might be a whole 14.1 hands

I have to admit though, he is not a barrel horse. He's all hunter under saddle and western pleasure bred lol

Measured her 2 weeks ago she stands at a solid and level 14.2 at the withers.  I'm crossing my fingers she'll reach 15.1 These pics were taken in July

Honeymoney - 2013-11-17 9:26 AM Huge---a little over 15.1.

wow    NICE!!

Will try to get a pic of her today. Bad thing is that I am old and have NO idea why I have big horses. I think I will trade everything for something about 14.3!!!!

Yept I would love to see this 15.1 hand long yearling, its should be grown already. Pictures please with it standing with another horse

I will try to get pictures of her standing next to my 16.1 gelding. Will that be OK? It will have to be tomorrow (Monday) Had to work on the truck today. Grades have to be finished and submitted.

Guess I should post a picture, he's filled out a lot too. And has a lot longer hair now too, looks kind of like a blonde buffalo right now.

That is funny, I was just talking to a friend about this very subject today. I think I'm going to end up selling my yearling. She is just too big for me. I like smaller horses, and she is a giraffe. She is 15.1 at the withers now and she was a late baby. I love the way she is put together, but I usually like mine around 14.2 fully grown. I'll bet this filly get upwards of 16+. :

Well here you go. Took these today. I tied her to the trailer with my paint horse who is 16.1. Yes he is 16.1. I will post a picture of me standing next to him. I am 5-5. Please note that my yearling's withers are nearly up to the window of the horse trailer. Yes she is 15.1 or a little over.
