Nicole.Noelle - 2013-11-19 10:32 AM Of topic, but I noticed someone was disliking pretty much everyones favorites. and i thought that was slightly amusing and wondered why >.<
I noticed too. Weird, probably mad because they get beaten by DFP horses all the time! Ha

Thats what they do!

I like Perks Firewater Flit, PFF....there I said it! Hater come hate!

I have a son, waiting to see what he does on the pattern.  He sure is a good looking sucker.  This is him a few weeks ago.  Peon.

I had a stud for years and always thought he was the most underrated stallion by Dash For Perks, he is gorgeous and he has PRODUCED. He has had multiple futurity winners, top 5 in the WPRA Circuit, etc....I'm pretty sure he has less than 40 babies on the ground also since he has never really stood to the public. Nice, nice horse.

His name is Hand Me Money Too.

I saw them announce on FB last year that they would no longer be standing him to the public. He's not that old.... Maybe some of our other stud owners could answer this for me.... Why would you own a stud that you would not allow outside mares to breed to? I don't mean that in a snotty way at all, just honestly don't understand the logic.
Because people can be a royal pain in the butt.

Ditto to WB.

If you bring in outside mares to live cover there is a plethora of issues to be addressed.

If you collect and ship on a small scale there goes any money you might make, unless you can collect yourself, and that's a $$ undertaking in itself.

 Make that a triple ditto.
I believe Billy is going to stand him to the public in 2014 but his book will be very limited. Not absolutely positive about that though. Will have to ask him when I see him next week.

I'd agree with this but it is phrased a little too tackfully.

+1 for Perks Alive

He looks so much like my filly by PA.  I have said it many times, he sure does mark those babies especially the black ones.  I wish I had a current picture of my girl.

Ditto to this but also Quality Control.
We have a son of Sun Frost and a son of Lone Drifter and really don't stand them to the public, we have bred the occasional outside mare for friends and such. We breed 10-15 mares of our own and pretty much know exactly what we are going to get from a cross and then we can get the resulting foals in the hands of people that are going to do them justice. When you breed an outside mare you lose all control and the reulting foal represents your stud---good and bad.
