Location: Flat Rock,IL | Did you you have problems with your bladder fallen. My aunt called to check upon me, she was telling me that she had two fibriod tumors and did not go with a hysterctomy, because of her sisters having problems with thier bladders. Does this happen a lot, after having a Hysterctomy. |

Location: Quinlan, TX | I had a bladder sling put in at the same time my hysterectomy was done.....only had a slight issue with it 3 months later. Was an easy fix tho. Glad I did both!! |

Location: Northeast, KS | I had my hysterectomy 19 years ago. I never had a problem with my bladder until the last two years. Is that unusual? I have to wear a pad when I run barrels or poles and I hate it!! I hate the thought of doctors even more. lol I don't know if it is from a fallen bladder or not?

I was having to do that several years before I had my hysterectomy, lol. Had everything yanked out December of 2011 and have not had any bladder issues to date.
That's what i was doing, was going a lot before. Have a follow up in a few weeks, going to ask if this happens a lot. |

Location: Iowa | I had to have one about 1 1/2 years ago and haven't had any problems other than I have to pee all the time, but I think that's because I drink a ton of water!! Even though I wasn't ready to have one because we wanted more kids, it was medically necessary and ended up being the best thing I could've done. Good Luck & God Bless!! |

I'm hoping that going to the bathroom visit stop. That was one of my problems with the tumor, going all the time, right now have to drink a lot of water. |

Location: Iowa | I'm pretty sure me having to pee all the time has everything to do with me drinking A LOT of water, and not much to do with my hysterectomy. I sure hope it works for you. I never want to go back to what life was like before I had my surgery, other than I was blessed with my kids. It has been a blessing. It was hard to accept at first since I was 32 at the time, but I know it was necessary and looking back, it's worked out well. |

Most surgeons now go ahead a tack up the bladder or put a mesh sling during the hysterectomy to prevent problems in the future. with that being said if not done correctly then a problem is invented. But to answer you question it is mostly the fault of father time and gravity. |
