I usually color my hair at home, myself. I usually do a really good job at not getting it on anything.

Well, I had a mishap and got a few black spots on my cream colored wall!!!

I've googled and googled and done everything and nothing will get it off. Any body have any suggestions other than just painting my bathroom?!

What above poster said, if Magic Eraser won't take it off, I'm gonna say you're screwed. I have had good luck with using Clorox Clean Up spray on stains on my kitchen counters or floors, so maybe try that too?

Unlike ink and other things that can get on walls, dye is made of small enough particles to be absorbed. I'm hoping you have some leftover paint and can just do touch up. If not, I see repainting in your future.

If you have to repaint, make sure to keep enough on hand for future "oops" moments.

This is how I got my husband to agree to redue the bathroom. Got a little dye here and a little there and woolah! New bathroom here I come! My husband spent some time with various cleaning products trying to erase the markets but with no luck he said we need to redue it.

If you figure it out don't tell me. I've been begging for a new bathroom.

There is some kind of hair color remover my hair girl uses to get it off of my skin. I am sure it is sold in a place like Sally's. You might try it. It would be good to have it around anyway in case you splatter on your skin.

I use nail polish remover to get my black dye off my white walls. It will take a small layer of the paint off but it's barely noticeable on the white / cream colored walls (provided you are just removing small spots) .

I still live at home with my parents and they will flip lol so I'm trying to hide it! I can't find any extra paint anywhere. I've tried the magic eraser, polish remover and I'm about to try the developer and hand sanitizer. I bought a little sample thing at the store of paint tonight that should match close enough to cover the little spots.

Lowes and Home Depot will match the paint if you can give them a small sample.

Ugh the sanitizer and developer didn't work. And the paint is too light.
