for a long yearling that turns 2 in early Feb. im hoping feeding the 3-4 pounds a day will be enough calories for her. she is in very good condition now on 4 pounds of strategy a day. I have not been happy with the inconsistency of the bags i have been getting so it was time to switch. im also trying to cut back on supplements another reason i went to the primeglo.

Location: N Texas		I just switched to PrimeGlo myself! I was feeding all three horses SeniorGlo, but wanted to cut back on the amount without compromising nutritional value. I emailed them and they recommended PrimeGlo, so I'm on my first bag. I feed about 2-3 pounds a day to a five and eight year old, and they have free choice hay and also get a little alfalfa once a day. They do say to supplement with minerals, so I have a mineral block for them.
I still feed my 26 year old the SeniorGlo, but it's really nice being able to feed such a small amount to the other two. All my horses love it and look great!
