I noticed that in her video blogs she is now doing on fb that she is back in the Brazilian saddle. I seen a vortex saddle last night at one of the stores up here and it was cheaply made but I guess you get what you pay for.

Really?  The list price on the website is a little under $3000, I would hope for that money it would be a really well made saddle.

I should have taken a picture of it, I have to go back this week and switch in a saddle and I will get some. It was gross, the leather felt weird, i cant even explain it. I talked to the store owner and he said he has not been able to sell one people try them on demos and bring them right back.

I follow her on youtube and FB and she said that babyflo ran better in the lighter weight saddle so she's going back to running in the brazilian. She said that at the qualifier race that was aired on rfd. In Arizona I think?

She ran in the Vortex at San Antonio last night. It was in Baby Flo's stall.

I am enjoying her video blogs...I like her enthusiasm and positive vibe..maybe it is all about marketing, but I think there are things that can be learned from her..she also mentioned that her balls to the walls type of running did not serve them that well at Vegas, and she is focused on getting Baby Flo working a little more correctly...the runs I have seen on the blogs, have all been real nice....and yes that Brazilian saddle does look a little strange, but it seems to work for them.

They, the Brazillian saddle, look a lot like the Wintec Synthetic saddles...but with a better fender position. Hopefully a better tree too!

How much do they weigh?

I saw an Abetta that Connie Combs sells and it weighs 17 lbs.  I would think that it would have a decent tree if she promotes it.  Needing a light colt saddle for the group we will be breaking this fall.

They weigh any where from 12-14 lbs. Here's the website http://braziliansaddle.com/

I think if your looking for something cheap and lightweight I'd go with Connie's saddle vs the Brazillian.

Never mind, the Wintec weigh 22 lbs apparently, and the fenders look like they would throw you forward anyway...

BAILEYBUG - 2014-02-12 8:23 AM she post her outfit and tack on FB before her rodeos and looks like she is back in the Brazilan Saddle.. Everyone knows Fallon is all about getting that sponsor money so she promotes the Vortex which she doesnt even USE??? Typical Fallon!!! Whats scary is young girls look up to her!
I'm not saying I like her,but since when is it a crime to switch saddles? Just because Vortex sponsers her doesn't mean she has to use their saddles 24/7.

I am sorry as a sponsor and as my husband is a trainer sponsored by Twisted X in the past - that is EXACTLY what she should be doing.

A sponsor is a company paying her to promote their product. If someone they are paying cannot even do that I would be beyond furious. I can tell you now, Twisted X would not have sponsored my hubby for four years if he wore Ariat's everyday.
If she prefers the other saddle she should never have switched just for the almightly dollar. This is the type of thing that leaves a sour taste in the mouth of sponsors and does the Vortex Company no good at all.

No kidding, I was suprised to see how expensive the Brazilian saddles are!  Connies is just a bit over $500.

The rigging is pretty cool on the Brazillian sadles though.

I'll be seeing Connie in a few weeks and I'll ask her about them.  She puts a lot of time and thought into what she puts her name on.
