In general, just looking for some of your guy's favorite places, hotels, if you bought a package deal, and the best days to go. We really want to go to the Miss Rodeo America coronation so that day would have to be one of the days to go.

I've never seen a package deal for the NFR that I couldn't beat the prices on by buying separately. Lots of good hotels. Hotel will be cheaper during the weekdays.

I have had my best luck booking airfare/hotel packages thru either the airlines or hotels, rather than booking seperately.  I do however start checking deals in late summer, early fall and keep watching them until I feel like the prices have bottomed out.  I have always pretty much booked and paid well in advance to take advantage of better pricing.  My best deals have been thru Southwest Airlines or MGM Grand Resorts.

Airfares generally change on Tuesdays.

We've had great luck with the Southwest Airlines packages.
Planet Hollywood was a great place to stay, mid strip and close to some good restaurants. Downtown is getting better and you can save $$ staying there.

We saved $$ booking separate this year, but I did see some hotels had a ticket/room package.  I always look on the hotel websites and see what deals they offer.
