Ok...everytime I think I've settled on the pad I want I hear negative experiences so lets see what the most suggested one is.............

I'd like a barrel pad with built up shoulder support that will hold up well and will not break the bank, as in $200 and Under Price Range.....

I have considered the Classic Equine Bio Fit, Impact Gel Build Up, and Sharon Camarillo Endorsed Sure Fit Saddle pad.

I have the Bio Fit. I thought I loved it but I like my saddle to sit back more and the built up part is too far forward. I'm going to have to use shims.

i use the CE bio-fit pad on my hard to fit mare... it really helped with her withers.  She has really sunked in wither bones... she seems to be building more muscle mass over them, I've had it a year now.
I've used several different brand pads on her and found this one to be the one help the best.

Why don't you buy a set of shims and use them with one of the pads you already have?

I have that exact one now, however I am due for a pad so I thought I'd invest in one with it built in since the particular horse probably isnt ever going to go anywhere.

I have a Team Equine pad.  It is 100% wool blanket with a closed cell foam enclosed and velcro together.  You can order pad thickness and shims.  I like that the blanket all comes off and easy to clean.  They are good to work with.
