I know there are feed places out there where you can have the grain mixed however you want it. I think there is a place in Peggs, OK maybe. Any ways, for those of you that do this, what all do you have them put in it?
Pros vs. Cons
Thanks, and Merry
(late
) Christmas!

We get ours mixed up ~1000lbs at a time here in WI.
Here's what we put into ours:
Rolled corn 550lbs
Rolled oats 250lbs
Soybean meal 140lbs
Vitamin A, D and E 8lbs
Wet molasses 60lbs
Trace mineral salts 50lbs
2:1 mineral 16lbs
Pros are you can put whatever you want into it
(my mom is a vet and calculated the ratios of everything
) and it's cheap - 17 cents a pound. Don't really have any cons.
