not really beans but they do build up crud/gunk in their udder creases.
Clean them out pretty regular and clean out between their but cheeks to keep that from chaffing as well.

The amount of gunk in between their teets is amazing. I clean that area every time my girls get a bath. If there is too much gunk they might start rubbing their tail.

We've made it a habit when we are saddling a mare, putting them in their stall at night or even just walking by them in the pasture we clean out their milkers. Lots of gunk gets stuck there.

What does everyone clean them with? One of my mares builds up a lot of gunk and the other two don't.

This. I have always known about the stuff between their teets and two of my mares LOVE being cleaned out. My other one not so much. But she also gets HUGE buildup around her vagina area and not so much between her teats. I have never had one do that before.

I have one mare that loves to be cleaned, and another that will kick my head off.

I haven't, but my mare gets gunk built up on her utters.......or whatever you want to call them. When it's time for me to clean them, she gets really itchy....and will really get into it when I scratch down there. That is when I know she needs to be cleaned

I clean it out every time I rinse the sweat off my mare, she really likes it now. If they kick then I use a long wall brush and give a good brushing under there.

When I clean out my mare's udder, she lifts her one back leg off the ground like a male dog peeing. Then she gets so much into that she almost falls over on me. Then she follows me around and when I stp she lifts her back leg asking for more. LOL

I've made it a habit of cleaning my mares every time they get a bath. One mare always gets really gunky under there and they all love it
