Location: Muskogee, OK | I found a trailer I am very interested in buying, fits almost exactly what I want with a small LQ package. However, it does not have a shower or toilet, which I really do want. It does have a sink, but does not have a water heater.
Question: how hard/expensive is it to add a shower/toilet combo down the road if I wanted to? Or how about just a cowboy shower in the 1st stall of the horse area? What about a water heater?
For those who have cowboy showers in their trailer, how do you like them? Do you find them a pain or have you found an easy way to get the water to drain out?

Location: The South | Our trailer was the same way, it just had a sink. When we started going to shoots further away and wanted to spend the night, my husband installed a water heater and a cowboy shower. We just have a porta potty in the first stall. He's duck hunting this weekend, but I'll ask him what website he used when he was doing all of the work. It had a diagram that he used for all of the plumbing lines. I think he did it all in a couple of days if I remember right.
We like it, we only go in the summer so being cold in the shower isn't an issue. We just stand in a Rubbermaid tub and dump the water out before we leave. We could probably just let it drain on the floor but I'm paranoid. |

This site is so awesome, my husband said he wouldn't have been able to do all of the plumbing stuff without it. |

| Maybe it's just me but I would not have a shower in my horse compartment. I bed my trailer to keep poop and pee off the floor so I darn sure don't want to soak it with a shower. |
