Mine is hydraulic & electric.  I'd never buy a trailer without.

The trailer my friends had before the one they have now had an electric jack.  Compared to mine it was slower than molasses in January but held up and did the trick.  Better than doing it by hand. LOL

I just sold a platinum 3 horse with living quarters. It had an electric jack and did fine. It wasn't slow. It was an 02. Still worked great when we sold it a week ago.

I have a 3H Lakota with an 8 foot short wall.  I've not had any issues with my electric jack.

LOVE our electric jack. The problems people have mentioned or you might have heard of are likely due to your batteries being low on charge. Ours has been slow a couple times when the batteries are down, and once recently it didn't hold the trailer up, gradually went down as battery charge went down. These issues are do to us, we forgot to plug in the trailer which we need to do for battery life up here in the great white north where -20-30 Celsius is the norm for at least 6 months of the year. Won't ever own another lv qt without it!

The electric jack I had was slooooow.  I think the motor was small for the weight because it would hum along pretty good until it actually started lifting the weight of the trailer.  The hydraulic jack I have now is way faster.
