Bill O'Reilly uses his time with the President Barack Obama as an opportunity to wave Faux News' manufactured "scandals" in front of his stupid-enough-to-vote-Republican viewers/victim's faces. Could you IMAGINE Edward R. Murrow - or any real journalist - sitting down with Kennedy - or any other president - and wasting America's time by incessantly repeating debunked, right wing, talking points? Of course, we all know that O'Reilly can't have a legitimate interview based on policy, since his entire reason for being on the air hinges on keeping his viewers/victims distracted from the actual issues facing this nation. O'Reilly's role is to keep the ignorant Faux News viewer/victim afraid of the black guy in the White House, who (gasp!!!) "fundamentally wants to change America!!!" Into what? One where white people's paychecks go to welfare queens?!?! He said if we liked America, we could keep it! Now we're going to be FORCED into not talking about Benghazi after incessant House Oversight Committee hearings, Armed Services inquiries, Foreign Affairs inquiries, Intelligence inquiries, Judiciary inquiries, Oversight and Government Reform inquiries, ongoing FBI investigations, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence investigations, State Department accountability review board investigation, etc... WHAT A "TYRANT!" O-M-G!!! This is how far we've fallen as a nation - thanks to the deregulation and the corporate takeover of the media... and old fashioned CONservative tactics. |

I can't watch him talk....I haven't ever been able too starting from back when he was running the first time. Snake oil salesman! Couldn't believe so many are this easily duped by empty promises and blaming others. I mute the TV when he is on and will just watch the clips on The Factor tonight...that much I can handle with out getting so angry. I know my limits... :)

I watched part of the interview, what I couldn't get past is the lying narcissist in Chief kept looking down. Like he didn't really believe what he was saying, but he's practiced those lies so much they just roll off his tongue without effort.
He never did give a straight answer.

While he's good at giving speeches, I can't stand to listen to him either! I believe it is telling that during the state of the union address (my SO was watching it), my dog kept growling at the TV while he spoke. Not the clapping noise, but while he spoke ... hmmmmmmm ...
We have a DANG hard road ahead of us. |

He's TERRIBLE at giving speeches! Or at least in my opinion. I can't stand the "Uh-uh" and "Um" at every pause and in between! I had a public speaking high school teacher who would have thrown the podium at him for that!
ETA: And don't get me started on the tele-prompter! He and Ron Burgendy have a whole lot in common!

I just could not listen to it or watch that liar spew his BS. Triple D is on with top ten hamburgers. I have found it much more appetizing. Maybe tomorrow I will watch the interview online. Maybe.Edited to add: Sometimes it is very nice to stick my head back in the sand.

Saw someone last night that said (paraphrased) -- that he agreed to the interview to rally his base. He can't do it on substance, so he did the interview, accused Fox of making stuff up, the base gets all distracted because they're going after O'Reilly & Fox news for being disrespectful of their hero?
Probably just about the extent of it -- especially based on the bleep RLB posted. |

Sadlly, you are correct. We are out numbered by those who want to be taken care of, they don't care at what cost. They forget, as in other countries led by dictators, the regular folk barely (if that ) get by and the politicans live high on the hog

I heard it on the news so I tried to find out more and there is a lot of conflicting numbers etc.
This was reported by Fox News in late November.
"~~(VIDEO-AT-LINK) Yeshiva News reported: Early reports state that Iran received a break of $4 billion in sanctions relief. Iran will get access to $4.2 billion in foreign exchange as part of an agreement under which it will curb its nuclear program in exchange for limited sanctions relief, a Western diplomat said on Sunday. The Iranian regime is reporting on the deal today."
