| Ok ladies, help me out here. I want to keep working, but I have to look nice while Im here, and all of my footwear is getting a bit snug and quite uncomforable. Most of my maternity shirts are nice sweaters, and I wear dark wash jeans most days, but I went shopping this weekend and was totally unsuccesful in finding shoes that I can imagine wearing for 8+ hours. Beginning to think some nice slippers (moccasins) might be my best option, but do any of you have any suggestions on some super comforable footwear? This pregnancy has pretty much been a breeze, but my super flat feet are definitely giving me some problems now... they're starting to swell a little, and they hurt 24/7. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | Keep in mind my youngest is 18 but my Dr told to buy a good pair of tennis shoes wear them throughout the pregnancy and throw them away afterward since they'd be stretched out. He was totally right. I wish I could remember the brand I bought at his recommendation but they weren't like a sport tennis shoe more a casual wear type, Let me see if I can find a picture. |

Location: Texas | I've been wearing Tom's. I have no idea if they are good for flat feet though. I do know that it is pretty common to swell or even go up a size in shoes while pregnant. My first pregnancy I retained water better than a camel. But it was summer and cheap flip-flops were my friend. This time, I haven't swelled that I've noticed, but my Tom's have some stretch to them. |

Location: Texas | A lady I work with bought a pair of Croc's. They look like loafers. They are very nice looking. She since has had the baby but has them in all colors and wears them every day. Let me find the link she sent me and I will post it for you.

Location: NC | I am 36wks pregnant and my shoes are getting tight too... So I feel your pain. My mom picked these shoes up for me, and I never even tried them on cause I don't like pink (http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1219661/croft-barrow-sport-shoes-women.jsp). but last night I did as a joke. Well the jokes on me they were super comfy. I wish they were more black on black or gray though something more nuetral cause then I feel like I could definitely wear them with dress slacks. Might be worth looking into a similar pair in that brand. I was shocked how comfy they were. I didn't wear them any where though just tried them on last night.
I tell you what though Pink or not I might start wearing them cause my shoes have been killing me all day at work!! haha |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | My Aunt swore by "gawdmother shoes". They're the ones that are so ugly her daughters would say......"gawd mother those are so ugly" She said if they were that ugly they must be good for your feet. LOL |

You just got to get mean and mean it.
Location: Arkansas | I never had to have different shoes. I just made sure I did't eat any salt! So, my feet and hands never swelled. I also weighed 118 lbs. and delivered at 135 lbs. And ate lot's of fresh fruit, vegies and never ever salted anything!
My OB said "Fat women have long hard deliveries and little babies!" Scared to poo out of me, so I made sure that I didn't put on the pounds and watched the salt! |

I Really Love Jeans

Location: North Dakota | If I am going to be on my feet out of the house I will wear my fat baby boots. Because they are wide they remain comfortable. Tight fitting athletic shoes make my feet swell even more. I would suggest a good leather shoe that slips on and is open in the back or really nice wide boots!!! With my son my feet were so swollen my leather boots made for english riding were destroyed by the time I had him!!! Pregnant women do go up a shoe size during pregnancy. |
