I Want a "MAN"

Has anyone made their own? I don't want to go complete redneck and cut off a pant leg and just fill it with ice. Do regular hock boots have something between the horse and the ice pack?

Sometimes old fashioned red neck works better than "new fangled". If that is what you have right now, use the pant leg. Works for me.

This works well on any joint and is good for about 30 minutes of cold. Get Maxy pads wet them and put n the freezer. Vet wrap them in place. I keep some in the freezer all the time. I like Kroger brand the best.

You can make your own ice packs in ziplock bags! Just use dish soap and rubbing alcohol lay bag down flat in freezer! Walah! cheap ready ice packs that you can use on anything!

I think 1/2 alcohol or little less to 1/2 dish soap in Ziploc bag!

I saw some ice boots at tractor supply co yesterday while I was getting grain. They were $29.99, I was tempted to grab one but decided against it.
These were Tough 1 boots, I wonder how those would hold up. You might try looking at some of those before you rip up some pants LOL
