Expert Posts: 5290	Who knows if this will work but have a prescription and nobody has it in stock. Just called my regular pharmacy and they have no idea when it will be in stock and the company is only producing the dog version at this time. Anyone? Thanks!

Expert Posts: 5290	Yep, I called the company today and they are NOT making it at this time. Not sure why. THey are making the DOG version and some horse people are using it but its not exactly the same. My vet told me to start using ICHON instead.

Been Blessed Posts: 7587 Location: Living in my Promised Land	I got better results with Pentosan than Adequan. I have used Adequan for 25 years and then read about Pentosan. In my experience, it keeps my mares sounder.

Posts: 1365 Location: waiting for the thaw	After years of Adequan use I've gone to Fluidity! Oral paste so don't have to inject. Was able to stretch out routine joint injections from every 8 to 10 weeks to once a season! And it's cheaper than Adequan.

Have to start Hero on it for his suspensory, so I just called around for prices. Ended up going with Pentosan, as it equates to $19 a shot if you buy the 30ml bottle.
